Call To The Void

Lately, I’ve been wanting to make a piece that has a clear subject—someone or something to anchor the composition. After going in circles for a while, I figured... why not just use myself? I already had a strong vision for the background, but I was stuck on the character side of things—so I became the character 😂

The concept centers around a singularity—not just a black hole pulling everything in, but something more mysterious. I imagined it as a kind of portal, maybe to another world. Could be beautiful, could be terrifying. That uncertainty is what drew me in, and that’s where the title Call To The Void comes from. There’s something quietly ominous about it, and I love that tension.

I’m actually pretty happy with how it turned out. For the next one, I think I’ll push the distortion effects and the accretion disc a bit further—see where that takes me.

Anyway, hope you like it
